Pause for Paws is an informational historical corridor analysis tool. It is not a live animal tracker and does not guarantee that wildlife is currently present on or near any road segment.

Driver messages and corridor alerts are advisory only and based on historical patterns, archived event data, or approved agency feeds. They should not be interpreted as real-time wildlife detection or a promise of current animal presence.

Privacy notice

This app may access location data only when a user explicitly enables location-based alerts or the app is configured for approved operational use. Any such access is used for safety-related proximity analysis and is not used for continuous tracking without disclosure.

If location, analytics, or telemetry are enabled, a separate privacy policy should be published to explain:

what data is collected;
why it is collected;
how it is stored and used;
which third-party services are involved;
how long it is retained; and
how users can request deletion or opt out when applicable.

Data use notice

All road, location, and wildlife-related data used in this app must be legally authorized and in compliance with applicable agency, partner, or licensing terms. The app should not use data from unapproved sources or imply live detection without the necessary permissions and review.

Before publishing to Google Play or a public website, confirm all data rights, map terms, privacy disclosures, permissions, and product claims are accurate and lawful. The app must not make false claims about live wildlife detection or guaranteed safety outcomes.
